Terms of Service

Last updated: July 6, 2026

1. The service

Ekklesia provides event registration, ticketing, check-in, and contact management tools for churches and ministry organizations (“organizers”). Organizers create workspaces, publish events, and collect registrations from attendees through public registration pages.

2. Accounts and workspaces

You need an account with a verified email address to create or join a workspace. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that happens under your account. Workspace owners control who can access their workspace and with what role.

3. Organizer responsibilities

Events belong to the organizers who run them. Organizers are responsible for the accuracy of their event listings, for the policies they attach to events (refunds, photography, liability, and similar), for honoring those policies, and for their relationships with attendees. Ekklesia provides tools — including policy templates — as conveniences, not as legal advice.

4. Payments and refunds

Ticket payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Ekklesia does not store card details. Refunds are issued by event organizers according to the refund policy published on each event page; when an organizer issues a refund through Ekklesia, the corresponding tickets are cancelled.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the service. That includes attempting to access other tenants’ data, probing or disrupting the platform, sending spam through it, uploading unlawful content, or using it to collect information about minors except as part of a registration completed by a parent or legal guardian.

6. Your content and data

Workspace data — events, registrations, contacts — belongs to the organization that operates the workspace. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your data at any time.

7. Availability

We work hard to keep Ekklesia available and fast, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted availability. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ekklesia is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data, arising out of your use of the service. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

10. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we will notify workspace owners by email before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

11. Contact
